Coaching

Coaching is a developmental process in which an individual, known as a coach, supports another person, referred to as a coachee or client, in achieving specific personal or professional goals. The coach provides guidance, encouragement, and feedback through structured conversations, often using techniques such as active listening, questioning, and goal-setting. The focus of coaching is on enhancing the coachee’s skills, performance, and self-awareness, enabling them to unlock their potential and make progress in various areas of their lives. While coaching can take different forms, such as life coaching, executive coaching, or sports coaching, it fundamentally involves a collaborative partnership that fosters growth and accountability. Unlike therapy, coaching is generally more forward-looking and goal-oriented, emphasizing action and results.
